Super rich vegan and vegetarian feijoada

Make it with canned beans or dried beans in the instant pot, pressure cooker or on the stovetop

Part 1 Chop two onions. Sauté in olive oil for 5 minutes, add oil and sauté five more.

Part 2 Measure out ground garlic, bay leaves, cayenne pepper, ground cilantro and other spices.

Part 3 Add spices to pan and toast two minutes. Add one pureed onion.

Part 4 Add beans, water and a vegetable stock cube. Cook according to method chosen. Add vinegar, soy sauce and marmite (optional)

Serve with: - steamed rice - orange slices -collard greens
